Ok, I'm here... now what??

Ok, so my Aunt has been a blogger for I don't even know how long and now I'm just getting into it. Actually I thought I had an account... more on that later... I was/am on myspace and I'm just really tired of it to be honest. This seems to be a more "grown up" kind of thing to do. I write what I'm thinking and my friends comment on it. Simple. Right? Well... I guess I have to blog in order for people to comment huh? Well here I am. I guess I should tell you something huh? Well at this moment I should be working on my swaps for the annual Stampin' Up! convention, but instead here I am. This happens to me all the time... I start out doing one thing and end up doing another. In my family we call that flitting - and my Grandmother was the master of it! On top of which I'm a total procrastinator too. So ok... back to the beginning... I was starting to do my swaps... I picked out a stamp set I wanted to use and went to one of my favorite websites for inspiration and for some reason I remembered I hadn't checked my Aunt's blogspot in a while (and actually wondering if I've been mentioned lately) so off I went... and then I was pokeing around and wondering if I had started an account a while back or not... so I typed in my regular online personality name and lo and behold it came up! So I tried to log in and I got in! Imagine that! So to answer one of my previous questions... yeah I do have an account but I never filled out any information in my profile and I haven't posted a blog yet... well folks... here you go... so now my mind seems to be flitting... what was I talking about again... ah yes... swaps... in case you don't know what they are (and I'm finding that not many people do) they are stamped card fronts that Stampin' Up! demonstrators make and swap with each other so that we as demonstrators have samples to show our customers (or hoard for ourselves) to get them to buy the stamp sets that were used to make that sample or "swap". I've been a demonstrator since 2002 - yes 5 years ago! - At first I thought I'd just be a hobby demonstrator which really means I'd purchase enough to keep myself active but mostly for the discount. But as I got more and more into it I started branching out and doing workshops (parties) and had a few events/classes... but then life kinda got in the way. I met a wonderful man, sold my current house, bought a new one and got married. Shortly thereafter I had a baby and now a year and a half later I'm kinda getting back into it. Over the last 2.5 years I've struggled to make my minimums but I did it and never lost my demo status. Also over the last 2.5 years I may have been purchasing product to achieve those minimums but I've barely picked up a stamp! So now with the new catalog out (btw... it's AWESOME!!!) I'm starting to get back into it... so I need swaps right??? Well that's what I started out doing and instead... here I am blogging to all of you... actually I don't think there are any of you because I haven't told anyone I have a blog here... well anyway... I'm here now... and I hope to blog more. So feel free to comment on my ramblings and my lack of paragraphs... cuz I don't really "do" paragraphs. I just type what my mind thinks us and sends down to my fingers!
